Inflate Base Layer
Adjust Firmness
Continue pumping until desired firmness is reached. Close both foot pump valves to
prevent dirt or excessive moisture from entering the pad. Remember that the pump is
at the foot end of the pad, and the oversized baffle acts as a pillow for your head.
Insert into Cosmo Pillowtop™ [optional]
If using with Cosmo Pillowtop™, insert Cosmo Air™ (or Tuo Luxury™) through the
opening for foot pump. Make sure the pad is beneath the foam layer and the
microfiber top covers the grey side of the sleeping pad.
Packing Away
To deflate, open the dump valve on the underside of the Cosmo™ pad. Fold the edges
of the pad towards the center and roll along the long edge of the pad, towards the
dump valve.
Care and Repair
To repair a leak, first clean and dry damaged area. Submerge the inflated pad in water
to help locate leaks. With pad deflated, adhere a fabric patch from the repair kit using a
urethane-based adhesive. This type of adhesive, such as Seam Grip® or Aquaseal®, can
be found at your local outdoor store. Spot clean pad with mild soap and water.
Open both valves on the foot pump of Cosmo Air™, and lay it out flat. The foot pump
portion will self-inflate. Make sure dump valve on the underside of the pad is closed.
Repeatedly step on the foot pump portion which will fill the baffled air chambers.
Remember to leave no trace. Before leaving your campsite take a thorough look
around making sure you have not left anything behind, out of place, or damaged.
